I see in your eyes, heavenly reprise
I smiled, so did you, your dreams coming true
A whole day to spend, with a guy who made bends
to be your white knight, to be the white light

We walked in the park, together embark
holding hands we would, walk as if we could
we're both two whole parts, we're a work of art
Together we'll stand, just as life had planned

I saw you smiling, your eyes were shining
like dew in the morn, or a necklace worn
by you; you were alms, as warm as a psalm
that keeps me alive, completing my life

the sky was all blue, a bright azure hue
I found in you, three, blinding fantasies
the first was a dream, of bells tolling streams
of joy to the Earth, for a couple's berth

the second was love, alas 'tis a dove
that flies so far off, in a flight so soft
the third was a peace, a musical tease
As I watch you grow ... my dear heart, I know...

Now before sunrise, Alas I must rise
And bid you farewell, for Fate saw us dwell;
through this green pass, at the station 'las
Your hands held softly; I let go at three

The train arrived now, and I wish somehow
I could have you back, I could change time's track
I looked at you, sure, with a faith so pure
There was a way out, it waited to sprout

I saw in your eyes, heavenly reprise
I smiled, so did you, your dreams would come true
A whole life to spend, with a guy who made bends
to be your white knight, to be the white light

We hugged and we left, a new life was weft
The world is ours now, and it does endow
With a gift like you, A blessing so true
The evenin' sun sets, ending my vignette
And yes, here it is... my pentasyllable love poem  Not something I write at all... and yet  hey, when we gotta write we gotta write.

And its not a departure - I'm just putting it here because I seriously couldn't take anymore of this... I'll post something in stark contrast immediately after writing this. In case you liked it .

Although, having said that, its not a poem I intend on working on... its there, amen.

Twenty minutes later: (sigh) Yes... I worked on it

It's even sweeter than that pool of Persian kittens! :iconiluplz:

My favourite line was:
Your hands held softly; I let go at three
I can't really define why, exactly, but it reminded me of young love.
