My third rispetto - in case you're new or have been living under a rock the other two were The Warrior's Call and Dear Rain

Anywho, this one is inspired by the Prince of Persia installment, "Warrior Within". And that also got me thinking... Dah'aka... A Demon not so much a demon of fate, but rather a fateful demon created because we were not fated to be... and thus our fate is in direct relation with the Dah'aka itself... a theme that is repeated within the game itself.

In retrospect though, I feel that this game is as close to Persian and Arabic circularism as metaphysics allowed in pre-Islamic Persia. Although having said that, I personally feel it is as circular as the fan of the game, or as the reader of this rispetto, would require it.

Its in a meter of eleven syllables. Its not iambic pentameter, in case anyone's wondering. Technically, its a heroic rispetto, with an a-b-a-b and c-c-d-d rhyme scheme, with an eleven syllable count in every line.

To the fans of the series, and to fans in general. Happy reading. :)

I have never played the game but this certainkly makes me want to play it now. There's some great imagery here, described with vivid vocabulary. The abab rhyming, along with the eleven syllable count (I keep counting them as twelve, even though they must be eleven :P) gives the poem a very lyrical, musical-like feeling. It flows well.

This is just.... beautiful. And combined with the image above... it just creates feelings of destiny, fate, calling. Great job!
