Literature Text

A new dawn; the awakening from slumber;
The calling heard, hark to the titans sleeping under
The terrace of the palace of Gaea, breathing, crumbled;
Arise! Awaken to this call, thou hast commanded;
Sanctity be praised, steadfastness from a grim array
Of the power and its ode, chanting the might tune "I pray;
I pray to the destruction of the forces aligning in vain;
Feasting on a blind avarice; I pray, I pray, I pray for them this day;
Awaken the colossi sédecim (sixteen colossi), their time has come;
This, the day, of reckoning that was meant to be"
Such was the call of the warriors, awashed in altruism against Dormin
The judgement to be made out for the plenty, but the notable few vermin;
Flee, oh birds of peace! Thee are not needed this day!
Awash us with thine power, oh elders! Give... us... this... day!!!
A new dawn; the awakening from slumber;
The calling heard, hark to the titans sleeping under

This was beautiful. I enjoyed reading every single word.

The overall theme of the poem is honestly unique and you presented it to us with remarkable detail. This poem is evoking--it creates vivid emotions and images in one's mind.

What really impressed me was your choice of words. Original and advanced, the vocabulary you have used has built such an awe-worthy piece.

I was...captivated, if you will and if there is such word by your rhyming. Even though missing in some lines, it dominates some others, thus being fully balanced.

All in all, this piece is astounding! You really got talent there!
