Literature Text

"Thence did ye bemoan to thine muse for a moment's respite.
'Twas as if, I hope, her fragrance hath swiftly drifted
through your chambers without fear.

Thus it filled your heart with a longing duly fulfilled.
'Tis what ye hath sought from your muse?"

-----

Thence did ye bemoan to thine muse for a moment's respite.

You had a burst of inspiration, either in numbness, or otherwise....

'Twas as if, I hope, her fragrance hath swiftly drifted through your chambers without fear.

You felt as if your sweetheart was in the room, keeping you safe; not in terms of her presence physically, but mentally, or spiritually; As if what you had sought is there, waiting - even if it is, ephemeral.

Thus it filled your heart with a longing duly fulfilled.

You wound up writing a poem which either represented what you had in mind while it was being written, or it was a fragment of your emotional self.

'Tis what ye hath sought from your muse?
Random schlock poem. Happy reading :)

:new: EDIT TUESDAY 2nd SEP 2014: The poem is present, but with it is an extension of what the poem is trying to say. And the title has been given: "My muse, for thee". Also, this is not a schlock poem anymore - its a schlock prose X3

This is beautiful, I've missed reading your words so much. They are like water to a parched flower! So glad to be back!
