Literature Text

What do you paint this time, Verilio
Behind those walls as dark as the crows
which caw their songs, laments for scavenging
grinding, vicious reminders, asunder thus bring
the reality of the dream, which you draw, drawn
into it, as if unable to see on your own, spawned
from the unknown; such are the realities which I see
the haunting realities and nightmares thus decreed...

I sigh, as I look at you - what are you thinking Verilio
Why do you draw her so meticulously, why must it be so?
We both know the nightmares of reality, the truth is there
for us to see - she's gone, Verilio. Sinistra leaves us bare
we are left to our own devices, my friend - stop with your woes
like a crow you grow older, darker, colder, starker, at the throes
of insanity you'll wind up going at this rate, do you realize
that you're one step away, from being decreed to a blackening demise?

but you continue to pursue your vision, silvered like glass. Verilio...
have your memories lost their way, lost care, fallen astray? Go
now into the lands of the living - you must, my dear, your love is
not meant to be thrust into the void - you're alone in your "bliss"
a kiss of serenity will not revive the truth you seek - the truth is dead
and bringing it to live does not require the souls uniting - much like bread

Bread cannot be conjoined together, nor at the kingdom of the sea
will she be waiting for you. Let it go, Verilio - Sinistra is better
knowing that you are forlorn, astray, broken, free
to pursue what is more viable, tangible, light as a feather...

Radiant-Intention had an inspiration on his journal about some old painting by some guy in an olden age about some painter creating a painting. Hence, my painting of his painting a painter painting is a painting portraying the pain felt by the viewer and reader watching a painter painting a painter painting come to life.

By the way, Sinistra is now my copyright protected name. As is Verilio.

Interpretations are welcome about how she died and anything else that comes your way. Cheers. Oh, and another thing:

this poem has only one keyword. If you can guess what it is you get a free poem. Do bear in mind its obscure relative to the poem itself.
